Safe Storage in Oakland – Celebrating 35 Years in Business.

Oakland, C.A., April 5, 2010 – Safe Storage (www.SafeStorageUsa.com) is celebrating 35 years in business this year. Located at 29th Ave. and 12th Str. in the heart of Fruitvale district of Oakland, Safe Storage is a self storage facility with over 1100 storage units, a moving and packing store and BUDGET Truck rental service. Safe Storage offers not only single story storage, but also parking spaces (Safe Parking), offices (Safe Offices) and other retail on the same property.

To celebrate this anniversary, Safe Storage is putting on a series of events starting this spring. Festivities include; recognizing its loyal customers, many of whom have been with the business for 35 years, putting on several summer “Pau Hana” celebrations, a traditional Hawaiian celebration marking the end of the work week with a public barbeque and entertainment, as well as collaborating with other businesses in the area with mixers and events.

Owned by Pacific Thomas Capital and operated by Safe Storage Management Company, Safe Storage is a family owned and operated business. With an emphasis on community involvement and being a part of the neighborhood, Safe Storage has been a landmark on this busy corner for over three decades.

With two major renovations done in the last 10 yrs, totaling $3.5 million, Safe Storage has increased its storage units and improved the corner of the 29th and 12th Ave, by building a 100 open parking lot and a brand new 700 square retail office. With these improvements, Pacific Thomas Capital has beautified the neighborhood and help boost the local economy.
